Joseph is a Partner at Frankel, Loughran, Starr & Vallone LLP and leads our Accounting Services Group and the Family Office Practice. He has over twenty years of experience serving the accounting and finance needs of a wide range of emerging businesses and high-net worth individuals. He has extensive experience working with Private Equity and lnvestment Partnerships.
Joseph has been instrumental in assisting firms during their start-up phase by providing valuable insight into areas such as developing an effective accounting system, managing day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping needs, employee and benefits considerations and Iocal filing obligations.
Prior to joining FLSV, Joseph served as a Vice President with Bear Stearns where he provided accounting services to several large institutional clients.
Joseph received a BBA from Pace University and earned his MBA in Accounting from Hofstra University. His professional affiliations include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA).

Laurence (“Larry”) is responsible for Ieadership and professional development within the Firm. He oversees programs and training designed to enhance professional staff competencies; paying specific attention to individual roles, responsibilities and requirements for advancement. In addition, Larry is responsible for the Firm’s framework and execution of quality control standards, and oversees its Peer Review and PCAOB requirements.
Larry is a retired Partner from Ernst & Young LLP where he principally served as an audit partner in charge of the Entrepreneurial Services practice in the New York Metropolitan Area. Larry was the Audit Partner in charge of engagements in the software, technology and entertainment and media industries.
Larry has devoted time to various charitable organizations and currently serves on the Finance Committee of United Jewish AppeaI/Federation, the Board of DanieI’s Music Foundation and the Board of Rosie’s Broadway Kids. Larry also chairs the audit committees of two for-profit companies.
Larry earned his BBA in accounting from Hofstra University. He is a member of the AICPA and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
